As you know, I am a true fan of Bare Minerals makeup. I have written several blog posts and reviews on different Bare Minerals products, and today I want to talk about the Mineral Veil Finishing Powder.
Makeup is like a best friend. It makes us look better, feel better, and accepts us the way that we are including our flaws. The problem is, we don’t want to show our cosmetic flaws to the world, and this is where we have to be strategic in our makeup application.
What is Mineral Veil?
Mineral Veil Finishing Powder is the last step in our makeup routine. It is a translucent (or tinted if you prefer) powder that gives us a softer and more finished look. Until I began using a finishing powder, I always wondered how to get a natural glow allowing my makeup to look more real rather than made-up.
Once I began applying the mineral veil, I immediately discovered the secret. While I am sure there are more expensive options, I am completely satisfied with Bare Minerals Mineral Veil powder.
Which One to Choose?
I prefer the original translucent mineral veil, however, that is a preference for my particular skin type, which is more like combination skin. I have deeper pores around my nose and inner cheek areas, so I don’t want to magnify them with anything shiny. For those of you who may have smoother skin, you may like the illuminating powder. There is also a tinted formula, as well as a hydrating powder. I am considering trying out the tinted option as it is supposed to eliminate the appearance of fine lines and pores. As always, if I decide to try it out, I will give you my thoughts on it.
For now, I am happy with the original translucent mineral veil powder as it complements my makeup without making my face shine.
